as I mentioned this morning went to local Verizon store and changed my phone from and STORM1 to a STORM2 at no charge.

..wait how'd you update to a storm2 at no charge?????????

Yeah, but I just zoomed in and it looks like I am in a 4G LTE border area, which means I may be flip flopping 3G/4G under certain "conditions". Not sure what that means (weather, etc.).

The only other issue I may have is that I travel all over the country and most of the time to little podunk towns outside major cities. I guess I could get lucky, just depends on where I'll be each week.

My STORM1 was not working properly couldn't hang up after a call. Had to press button numerous times to open any app just too many problems. Since the STORM1 was discontinued they automatically upgraded me to a STORM2.

hey ben, maybe you would know. i live in ny, long island to be exact. i know nyc has lte, and according to the map my house on long island is under the lte coverage, but could that be? i live roughly 35mi from the city. does the lte signal reach that far? would the signal/speed be good?

just wondering for when i want blazing speeds when i am not home, using wifi. thanks.
