Guys - We tie reputation points in the forums to the Thanks button. There are Advisers and other members that work really hard to earn these points, and it's not fair to them when someone that posts 3 words gets thanked 9 times. I have felt that sometimes "thanks" button is used like the "like" button on facebook. Maybe there should be some equivalent to a "like" button here too so that it can be differentiated from "thanks". Just a thought.

A lot of vBulletin forums out there limit the amount of "thanks" a user can give out in a day... perhaps you guys could institute that if it becomes a problem
