Agreed. These forums have become more of a support group in between bits of new news/speculation. Keeps my fiance/family from getting pissed about hearing about this phone, lol. Once there is new news, we will be right back on topic.

I still have a hard time believing that we are less than a week away from the said launch date and we have no details or anything official from Verizon or anyone for that matter. I honestly think its time to be realistic and face the facts that the phone more than likely won't be out next week. I can't see them not giving customers atleast a week to get prepared. I think the 24th is now looking more realistic. Im trying to stay positive here but there is really nothing that gives me any hope at the moment.

I think that Verizon has more to do than we do to "prepare"...?

Its been said before, that they wont announce until after ipad launch.

well heres what we know so far, HTC.com has put the flash file of the Bolt back up, the showcase app is on the market along with the VZW nav app, and all of the info Be5n has shown us. It looks to me like the 17th is the prime date here, maybe even this weekend but i highly doubt it. I'm looking at the 17th

Yea but they can't expect "normal" customers, not us freaks to just hear about a phone on lets say Monday and go out and spend 300 on it Thursday, especially if the data changes too. They need to give people some time to make a decision, gather funds or find out if this is a phone that will work for them and if they can afford it instead of just throwing it out there when 99 percent of the world has never heard of it.

True, but this just isn't your average phone! They call it their flagship phone, the phone that will show off their new network. You would think they would be pushing it alittle harder that's all.

Customers don't need to "prepare", besides there have been commercials and ads in Best Buy for this thing for a month. The iPad only got a week.

That's what they did with the D2 and DPro. I think VZW was a bit embarassed about those two phones - I would have been. Other "flagship" phones (D1, DX, DInc) had substantial lead time between date announcement and actual release.
