we need to have a new topic, how about predicting the quadrant score?
I guess 1950
Didn't Bob already do that on the wirefly vid? Unless you're thinking the score will be different with the production model.
Once we get 4G speed, most of us will have an increased data usage ... we will be indulging in more streaming media which will spike our data usage considerably. 5GB data cap? That would be scary as we could reach that cap in half a month .. but of course if we discipline ourselves, we can keep ourselves within the data cap. But I feel that beats the whole purpose of having 4G.
A few questions: I have not used other "4G" phones on other carriers so I don't know this. While in a 4G area, we can still toggle back to 3G and use 3G data speed only right? Will that help bring down our data usage? Do GPS navigators with downloadable maps use much data (as opposed to apps like Google Nav)?

According to BMX there is a throttle so.....
Draw your own conclusions I guess. Maybe it's coming, maybe not.
1950 seems like a really good number. I dont think ive ever gotten the highest score that ppl say my phone should be getting. also i wish quadrant would update there results. i wanna see what the norm is for my phone.

There is supposed to be a toggle, but the guy on another forum with the phone didn't find it that i know of.
Switching to 3g will not affect your data usage. it will just make it slower. If you are downloading a page or a map that is say 1MB, it is 1MB on 3g or 4G. 4G will definitely allow you to download a lot of data quickly enough to get in trouble, but if you did the exact same stuff you are doing today, you would have the same data rate. ...One exception. If you are moving from a blackberry of any kind (Storm 1 for me) you will see your data rates go up significantly because RIM servers compress everything before they send it to you. I would expext a 3X increase in data usage from switching to Android. I don't know the answer to the map question, but i am assuming at the end of the day, unless you are driving cross country, that it is all small stuff...
