There's a storm brewing...

Well the kickstand don't bother me either way and I think everyone knows the stock battery will have to be replaced on either device if you use your phone all day like I do and I don't have a outlet next to me all day. So neither of those are deal breakers for me what so ever. Plus I would have an extra 200 to play with. Don't get me wrong, I want the Thunderbolt, but it won't break my heart go go with the inspire either.

I'm with you... the more I think about the devices and my probable usage (not sure how much I'd use the FFC or kickstand (and I'm not going to pay hundreds extra for a kickstand!), (non) availability of LTE in areas I spend a lot of time in), the more I feel like I'll end up with an Inspire... or maybe an Atrix. I mean really, the Inspire is $60 on Amazon. The extra $240 isn't nothing, and without regular access to LTE, the AT&T/Verizon difference isn't a factor for me.

That said, for now I'm waiting. I want to see what the Tbolt is really like, and how the Verizon plan pricing plays out first.

Was not expecting any news this week end, Tomorrow may be quiet as well. I think we are going to pretty much see the writing on the wall by tuesday...sometime around mid day.

Keeping my fingers crossed for Tuesday at the latest. There has been alot of activity Friday. Seems likme something if going to happen "SOON" ;P

I am with you Brian, CTIA should be interesting regarding the upcoming lines for HTC the next few months. I wonder if Big Red recognized the timing of these things and this played into their efforts to launch earlier....

I had another dream last night about the tbolt. I was watching a movie from Netflix on the tbolt. Pppllleeeaaaassseeeeee release the tbolt.

I pretty much feel the same as you. I waited & waited for the bolt, bought the Inspire as soon as I could, got hooked on the bolt release opera, & returned the Inspire until last week I bought the Inspire again & haven't looked back. To me & my needs & wallet, the two phones are so similar that it simply comes down to the network. If the Inspire & ATT work for you, go for it. If they don't, Verizon & the bolt are going to be great.

I'm a big HTC fan, Verizon has a great network & I live in an LTE city so don't think I'm trying to start something here, but unless you think you might need the FFC or going to be streaming a lot, the Inspire can be upgraded to bolt specs basically, if you want, for a lot less money. Once again, to me its a carrier decision first, then up front cost of the phone.

You are assuming they had a plan... or at least a good plan.

Where do you live that you were able to take this picture?? I ask because I live in KCMO and none of our Best Buys have a display like this. I was just in Best Buy about a week ago and didn't see anything like this? I also just called Best Buy to see if maybe he just got they just got these in and he said they don't have any display models and aren't even expecting live models for display for ANOTHER MONTH!! Another month man..I said, "Wow that can't be good" he said, "yea I know I want this phone too." I let him go after that but I was even in the Verizon store the other day, which I reported on here, and they don't even have a display or anything. So can you please tell us where, or just what area you live in if you're not comfortable with your city and state. Why would some Best Buys have displays like this and not others??

I live in Meridian, MS and we only have one BestBuy. LOL!:D Btw I asked the BB rep about how many peeps pre-ordered the TB he said less than 10, some peeps backed out due to the phone's delay. hehehe:D

I def think the quietness of Ben has to mean something good, cause last weekend he was on here everyday talkin about the phone and then breaking the bad news, and so far this weekend it's been so quiet. I think since nothing has changed this weekend I believe it will be out this week, I wouldn't see why it couldn't be, the only thing I could see not bringing it this week would be vz wanting to have a week of advertising and preorders.

I am very hopeful for thursday...but over the next 48 hours I am going to try and stay level headed about things. I do not want to be dissapointed again.....It is what it is...wishing VZW would just get it done and be ready to go...but I am preparing my mind for more waiting.

only news he broke this weekend was that tiered pricing is going to stick

but no mention of any delay :)

AND BMX just tweeted he's going to maybe update his blog with launch details for ThunderBolt just now

The htcsense thing is still not working, it still show device loading error, been that way since like 1. That's kind of weird Oh and what's the link for bmx blog

What's it mean!?

Also, if the iPad one is using the TB as a hotspot, does that mean the iPad has 4G speeds?

It means that we still haven't gone to the next level of verification yet in terms of launch, but as NCX says...it does mean that the issue of tiered pricing is going to be another layer we may have to look at upfront.
