Just checked with my bro who works at best buy, hes there rite now and said that they were told the 17th, that they are supposed to be getting them in soon. He didnt give me a price though.. I really hope its $250.. $300 is overkill

My work place and the VZW store 1 mile away are on a very populated route with lots of strip malls and such. I don't even have the option for a lunch break visit if I want to get back to work in less than two hours, and that's NOT including getting and eating lunch.

I don't think preordering on this phone is going to be necessary. After all most of the average phone buyers already used their upgrades for the iPhone leaving enthusiasts like us to wait for the thunderbolt.

I always thought of preordering as a big marketing gimmick of creating the illusion on constrained demand. I've never ever preordered anything And have always gotten my gadgets with no problems on launch days. I think that's why BB is doing that in the first place.

I plan to order online at VZW so that I won't have to pay sales tax on it They do allow me to ship to my work address, and someone else can sign for me, so I'm set! Now, it's just a matter of waiting...

By the looks of things, we'll have all the power of Verizon's 4G LTE blazing fast network as well as our beloved Thunderbolt in our hands by Thursday. Now, we play the waiting game.

Considering what happened with DInc and DX, I don't want to.take a chance although times are different now - with a much wider selection of android phones.

It always has. I put it in all the time to see if the price change. If you pay full retail, your gonna end up paying over 800 bucks for the phone. Weak. lol
