I did. The guy at my store said they had not heard of changes but that it could still happen between now and Thursday. Previously these guys were saying they knew nothing about anything.

Well I'll be damned...the Verizon Corporate store in SF just called me and told me to come pick up my TB on Thursday.

I told the rep he better hope it does come on Thursday, or I'm gonna show up and I'm not going to be happy. I also reminded him that I'm 6'4" 250 J/K

His reply: "I'm looking at an email right now from corporate that tells me that you're gonna be a happy camper on Thursday."

What store did you get a call from? I've absolutely had it with the Arbo store and the one in Matthews. I'm thinking about heading up to the Huntersville store . . . although far away, it looks like they have more positive reviews.

Man phone reps must not be told anything till day after everyone else. I just called and asked to speak with a manager to let them know that I have patiently been waiting for three plus weeks for them to be able to offer me my upgrade to the TB to fix my software issue. Would that happen to have any release dates for the phone this week. Was told sorry please go to Verizon website and search Thunderbolt and enter your email that will be first place we notifiy the phones release. We have not heard anything today about it coming out yet sorry.

oh crap, man---Arbo was the one i always used & was going to go to.

now i'm prob gonna order online--if the $35 activation fee is waived, that is.

Also---have you tried the VZW on 51 & 74 by the BurgerKing/Costco? i've had good luck with them
