Ok, so are any stores opening early. When I bought my wife's I*hone, I was able to go before work and was out of the store before 7:30. Can we please be as fortunate!

The way I understand this, if the free buyback is not on your pre-order receipt, you won't get it. And... I don't believe it is on anyone's pre-order receipt.

thanks Jay! looking forward to what they say. IMO, they should still honor that. We pre-ordered on Feb 9th for that offer alone. We normally always go to a corp VZW store.

I agree 100%. I just find it hard to believe that it would be more than the iPhone. I know the iPhone is older and not as good as the TB, but people think Apple's products are expensive. And if they want people to buy a 4G phone, no one is going to spend $100 more than the "newest" Verizon phone.

Edit: Looks like $250. So if I use my NE2 credit, I should be able to get it for around $200, right?

and depending on what phone u have now, u can turn it in for extra moneys off but u have to do it online, and it ends up being off whatever u want (ie. gift card= accessories? )

you might be able to call up 611 from ur phone and ask very nicely that they move up ur upgrade, but i wouldnt say anything about wanting it for the TBolt. ive read on here several times that others have been able to make them do this for them

I have something like $570 in credits from the trade in program. I had a lot of phones sitting around, iphone 3gs from ATT, WinMo 6.6 from Sprint and a VZW Fascinate etc. I probably could have gotten more by selling but I don't like the hassle which is why I still had them.

The trade in program was easy, signup online, they send you an envelope, you stick the phone in and send it back (make SURE that you put the right phone in the right envelope).

I'll be using the credit for the bolt, a few accessories and let the rest ride to pay the bill for a couple of months.

we wanted the option the buy back program offered since VZW will lock us in for 2yrs. This will be our first android and first smartphone. I hope the TB will be easy to use and learn.

Just called my BB and the guy was kind of rude, quick to interrupt me when I said the word Thunderbolt and then tell me that they will be calling customers to make appointments when they are given information.

I'm starting to wonder if my BB will even have this phone on stock come Thursday.

That being said, just in case, I also put in for a preorder with wirefly last night at 3 am EST as a back up plan
