Can someone tell me if I can get this phone being the secondary line of a family plan? Someone said this could only be activated by the primary line. If I waited 4+ months for a phone I can't even get I'm going to be sick.

depends on what u mean by your question. if your available for an upgrade on your line, then yes. if you want to go in and get it w/o the primary line being there, then yes/no. you have to be made an authorized user on the account in order to go in and purchase a new phone.

For those wondering about skype and video calling that is still being finalized and should be avail within the coming weeks. They are close so expect it very soon... qik tech for video compression hicups are being ironed out to ensure the service is up to par with wired video calling solutions.

Wouldn't highlight the new network if video calling only worked on wifi.... would it Jobs?

One guy I talked to (at VZW) said he'd hold a phone, another said they couldn't (I guess it just depends on who you get). I made an appointment with the guy who said he'd have a phone for me.

Ok....walked into my local VZW store looking for the car dock and they had it for sale. The rep asked me if I already had the phone. I stated no and that I was planning on ordering from Wirefly for $199. The store manager heard me and said he would take off $25 of the price of the phone for a 2 year contract and waive the activation fee if I buy through them. I'll be there at 9am thursday!!!

I have 2 stores here that are less then 20 miles apart. They both will have the phone. The one will have more than 20 like i stated before. So I might have a chance after all to get the phone. Will try the one closer first though. He said not a lot of people come into that store for phones. hmmmmmmm I cannot wait!!

Hello everyone, I am new commenting on the forum but I've been reading every one of the 7000+ comment since the day when delays started to happen. Any ways, my question is something I haven't found clarified by any poster or tipster so PLEASE if Ben^5 is around us right now and reads this, could you please tell me what's the deal with it. My question is in regards of this quote:

What does this mean exactly. Is it 29.99 for unlimited 4G data on top of the 29.99 for 3G data or a total 59.98 for data? or is it 29.99 data plan that includes 3G and 4G so monthly is only a total of 29.99 for data?


So please if anybody knows about this please let me know. I used to be a Verizon customer but moved to T-mobile (bad move) to get a Nexus S (great phone BTW). But after a week, the service was so awful that I had to go back to Verizon losing all my privileges and having to start as a new customer. Anyways, I've been eying this phone ever since I return to Verizon on Feb. 10. So this is the phone I've been holding for and the one I want to get so I can replace my RAZR. So please somebody clarify this for me. Thanks in advance.

went to a local verizon store which happens to be across the street from what I think is a corporate verizon building... but he told me to come in at 9am on thursday and he'll get me all setup.. He took down some basic info and said 1 year contracts are still available you just pay more for the phone...(not sure how much more...don't really care just don't want to be locked in for 2 years ever again) Woooo
