Any idea if any issues with customs recovery? For instance resetting dalvik cache is an option in twrp. Wondering if it still works.

blackberry messenger also enjoys suddenly breaking into a "has stopped responding" fit. A few other widgets/tweaks related to whatsapp and BBM also crash alongside. Little warning, uninstall an app and try reinstall, you'll end up with error -24 and it's a NIGHTMARE to get rid of.

You can still do this, although it has no means of use while running under ART. Still a recommendation if you ever swap back, though.

But, if you get Plants vs. Zombies from the Amazon Appstore, it actually works under the ART compiler.

Plants vs Zombies 2 works just fine...

Plants vs zombies crashed on Google play edition on 4.3. Its not an ART issue. It works fine with ART on n5.

Thanks Dan, added Rdio to the list. Seems like it's pretty solid, not a lot of failing apps considering the several hundred thousand that are in the Play Store.

I've noticed with tinydeathstar, that when there's at least 6 or 7 apps running in the background, it will force close everytime. but if there's just a few running, it will run just fine. it never did this before i switched over to ARC, so maybe someone else can verify?

WhatsApp works, however you'll need to:
-uninstall the current version
-switch back to Dalvik
-install version 2.11.42 (I've read that 2.11.50 works too but I haven't tried it)
-switch back to ART.
One thing though is sharing media from within WhatsApp doesn't work but you can still share media with WhatsApp using the standard share button.

For me, my other 221 installed Apps all work great on ART so the battery improvements are worth it for the little annoyance in WhatsApp.
