These One/S4 comparison threads are funny

I gotta say,

I have read so many comparison threads and have realized that both sides have lost their minds. Lets see, The One has a small screen since its .3 smaller, or the S4 is a toy cause its plastic, I love how each side makes it seem as though one phone is so superior to the other that the opposing device can not do the exact same thing as the one you choose.

Last I checked, u can talk, email, text, surf, take photos, load the same exact apps on either phone and get through your day on the battery. These threads aim to make it seem that if you buy one or the other then you will be lost in a vortex of technological deficit.

Come on people, these phones are nearly identical, faster processor, bigger screen, better speakers, higher ppi, there is no major difference. People are splitting hairs and just being fanatical with their decision.

In the end get what you like, there really is not going to be some massive magical difference if you have one or the other and just think, in 12 months from now we can all do this again.

What Doctor jack said ^^^^ ... I think both are great devices, its all down to what your looking for and what appeals to your individual needs!! Neither is better to be honest, they both have strength's and weaknesses. I had an s3 and loved it but for me the s4 wasn't much of an upgrade and was too gimmicky, The htc one just appealed to me more :)

The s4 is sooooo much better and the one is the worst phone ever!

Oh wait.... Are we not getting fanatical in this thread? I just can't keep up anymore.

Totally agree though, both are great phones and I think both companies are pushing each other to be better. Like I've said before, I'm holding out for the next note but I think it will be a better phone because of the htc vs samsung competition.

in 12 months both of these phones will be **** anyways.

The funny thing is that both of these phones will not be obsolete in a year's time. Marketing hype and peer pressure will say otherwise, but that doesn't change the fact that the hardware will still be of high standard.

I'm right their with you these are two of the best phones launched this year and people have to put one down to justify their decision. Pick whichever device you pick based on your preferences. I'm also happy Android phones have gotten this good just means better devices you get no matter the choice you make.

I got the One after owning iPhones for years (don't get me wrong - I still love my iPhone 5) and it really surprised me to see the amount of infighting and trolling I've seen on Android forums regarding the different Android phones. I'm used to Android and iPhone users arguing back and forth, but the amount of hostility on Android forums takes the cake.
