I placed my order on the 19th (wait list) with an estimated ship date of mid December, but they charged my card yesterday. I've ordered from Google numerous times in the past and charging my card always meant my order was about to ship. Anyone else had their card billed yet?

Agree - I think the charges are just to hold the amount of money until the item is shipped - kinda of a temp charge. Best Buy did the same to me.

Ordered the 20th and they took it out on the 21st

Here's the screenshot from Google's help page. It's not that I mind them taking the money, but it seems contradictory to their policy.

I used Google financing. It shows the transaction but it hasn't been posted yet.

I tried Google financing. Got approved for the full amount and then they declined the transaction. I tried a couple of times same result. So I got it from Curry's using my husband's credit account and I will get mine next Thursday. Very excited.
