I have Sprint and a large N popped up.

last time I tried 11 and this time 20. still nothing. my N8 was a bit weird out of the box and has remained so.

Press on the "n" at the end of the word "version".

thanks to your quote containing the link, I now have the N. I wasn't tapping quickly enough. however, when I saw the cat it went away. I tried to follow the next steps in the tutorial, but I was unable to ever see the edit button on the notification panel to do more.

When ou pull down the quick toggle menu select button order in the 3 dots menu and you should the have the edit option to add the cat food plate to toggles

I just discovered that the FM radio chip in my Verizon Note 8 is enabled. I downloaded an app called NextRadio and it works! It's not streaming, it's actually over-the-air. It uses the headphone cord as the antenna. I've been wondering when they were going to start enabling those FM radio chips. Evidently, Samsung has been enabling them starting with the S8s, from what I read.

This is great news. I'll have to give this a try. Of course it means using a plug-in set of earphones but I can tell you how many times I've wished for a simple radio feed on my phone! I guess those AKG buds will now come in handy for something!

And you can buy a dollar store set of ear buds and cut off the ear pieces and use it for an antenna and have a transistor radio. lol That is what I do.

I can live with the stock launcher. I don't find myself missing Nova.

You feed the cats, of course! Then they come and eat, then you put out more....and so on...and so on. On my GS7 Edge, I had collected about 65 cats (my daughter loved it).

I had forgot about this till now(Had a Nexus 6).

Not that I know of. I searched Google and all that happens is basically what's already been described here. I've collected three cats so far and it's kind of stuck on a loop where the same three cats I already have, keep coming by. I'm losing interest in it already.

thanks. yes. same here. I suppose cat three will show up shortly and I think after that I'm finished. interesting to go through the steps successfully, though. kinda cool.

I have discovered the same thing. I wanted to give the stock launcher a chance and since the Edge apps allows me to have quick access to so many apps the need for the gesture launching was basically no longer a bonus. And I loved Nova on my Note 3. But I went a really minimized route this time. Downloaded way less apps, only have two pages. Even got rid of the Bixby page since I can't stand that feature.

How do you hear the radio if you cut the speakers off of the earbuds?

I was thinking the same thing... I know you can stream to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously so maybe you can stream to a Bluetooth AND plug in? That would be the best of both worlds. I figured I'd just get a 1/8" dual male connector to run to my Bluetooth speaker to use the radio.

I tested the radio tonight on my Verizon N8 and it worked great with wired headphones. Great for listening to live sports events at work. Used to have a bear of a time finding a stream!

That's what I was wondering also. The plug would still be in the headset jack so how would you get any sound with the earbuds cut off?
