If I could dream up the perfect cell phone, it would be the Note 8.
Bummed to discover it comes in 4 colors but only black & grey are sold in the US. But i put a hard case on the nank so now it's pink.
so far though, I absolutely love it !

I know there was a VERY active one on the S8/S8+ Forum and thought of mentioning it a couple of nights ago but didn't want to ruffle any feathers. It was huge over there!

I just did this and it worked. Go to the about screen in settings. Tap on Android Version till the N appears. Tap that N about 6 times and then hold it till you get the forbidden sign. The cats are now gone.

Well that didn't work!

Under developer option I have an *enable OEM unlock* option which says if I do it will disable samsung pay & knox installing a custom OS, wonder if this is like Root or how close

If you have the US version, rooting is not possible at this time so that setting is pointless.

I'm european exynos unlocked/unbranded but it looks is that you can enable it if you want to install a different OS, like if you have root already out of the box but just warns that knox&pay wont work.
I know there is a root out for exynos already but am not bothered really

I know that when I rooted my Note 5, yes Android Pay and Samsung Pay were disabled. When restoring the phone back to stock, Android Pay started working again but Samsung Pay would never work again simply because the phone had been rooted and Samsung Pay checks for that and will never work again.

I downloaded this from the play store and it either works better than stock edge lighting or it gave the stock a boost, it works pretty good and you can set it up to work on calls too.

I just downloaded it, and it works great. Thanks so much. First I have ever seen of edge lighting. In particular it is cool with the phone face down as it keeps the colour going for a while. Two thumbs up!

Bixby is really use fully for inside phone functions like messaging, Call , Alarm bixby is even better than Google Assistant in this functions

I posted a panorama from this camera on Facebook and it just posted as a skinny long image. It didn't go into 360 mode like it used to when I was using a note 5.

I would like to discover... and please don't flame me for not knowing... what the usb adapters that were included with the N8 are for. I get that they are connectors, but what I don't know is their capability. are they otg? can I use them to transfer things? very unclear how I might use them. thank you in advance.
