Things you've discovered

Amy - this made me stop and think, then test. Actually, it seems the standard Auto mode shots are at the same focal length as the wide angle view of Live Focus mode. I took a photo in both and then compared the two, seems to be the same.

My understanding of Live Focus mode is that it takes the photo with both lenses and merges the two. It blurs the wide angle shot and keeps the X2 zoom shot in focus. I think of it like layers in photoshop.

If you bought a glass screen protector and find that you are having to press harder to register touches, go to advanced, and increase touch sensitivity. Everything will run smoothly

Going on a trip with someone and want to share some music? Use 2 bluetooth headsets at the same time.

I am still having trouble after doing that. I thought I wouldn't get into my phone. For sone reason the right side is not responding well when unlocking

I got husband to set up a Samsung financing account for mine lol. Samsung wouldnt finance me which is irritating as I've had a ton of Samsung products over the years but it is what it is. I'm planning to have it paid off within a year
Same. I just purchased an unlocked ocean blue 512GB Note9 on Amazon yesterday with a Lifeproof Next case and my bank account is weeping.

I don't like being beholden to payments, either to a carrier or to anyone else. I like paying off my devices right away and not having to worry about it.

I would if I could. I did that with the last device. If it hadnt been for our veterinary bill with my puggle this summer it may have been doable

Samsung Notes tip - Although not nearly as good as S Notes, it's coming along. If you hold the S Pen button and double tap the screen, it will open a new note. This function will also work while in another app.

I've seen a few people complain about damage to the metal frame on the phone.

***Protective plastic cover over frame. It starts to peel off after a few times removing a case.

To be honest, I didn't have one on my note 8 for a year, and yeah, you get some Very light surface marks (not even really scratches), but nothing you can see unless you really try. The glass is so good now, not like it was 10 years ago ( Actually I don't even think it was glass 10 years ago). It is a tool and it is meant to be used and enjoyed. Use it, keep it for 2 years, and trade it back in for credit. Or better yet, sell it to someone less fortunate at a good price.

There are small strips of plastic on the edges of the phone that you remove.

Agree, I just think some believe their phone is damaged, when in fact, the film is the issue. Should have been removed from the beginning when unboxed.
