Thinking about getting the Note 8, advice needed please

...My question is:
how many of you use it as your daily driver? Yes, its my daily driver for now. Had it since the beginning of Sept.
Have you found that it's too large at times? I came from iPhone 7Plus, its a bit longer by mm... but it feels lighter and of course the screen aspect ratio is larger than iPhone 7+
How is the smaller battery than the S8 plus? can't answer this question.
Is 6.3 inches just too large to you guys or is it easy to use? Its easy to use, I commute on train on the weekday for work, so the large screen is perfect for multi-tasking/multi-window.
Overall how do you like your Note 8 and how different is it from the S8 plus. I like my note 8 alot comparing it to the iPhone 7+, I can't answer regarding comparison to the S8+
I ask bc I owned the regular S8 and I didn't care for it much. Is the screen as curved as much as the S8 plus is or is it more flat? can't answer this either.
Just overall curious of what your thoughts were on the device and how you've liked it or if you've not liked it. I'm trying to decide whether to get it or just get the iPhone 8 instead. get whatever that works for you. me being an iPhone user for several years (from the iPhone 1g, 3g. 4s, 5/5s, 6+/6s+ & 7, I'm tired of the same software experience, yet it just in a different physical body. There is not a promotion on the iPhone 8 but it's cheaper than the Note 8 already. The $200 gift card that I'd get with the Note 8 is what started making me consider it but the size of it is what I'm concerned with as a daily driver phone. My advice is to go to the store, and compare side by side on the physical size of each phone that you considering and see if its an issues for you. the Note 8 is a perfect size for me, I think this the largest I might go for. I really enjoy the size. I rarely use my ipad now because the Note 8 screen size is perfect. I'd be more inclined to use it as a second device and media device and keep my honor 8 as my daily driver. Anyways I was just curious of what you guys thought about it so far and if it's worth getting or not. it depends on the individual and what they intend to use the phone for. If it meets your needs and requirements, you'll be happy with the phone. Thanks for any help and advice.

I just got my Note 8 a couple days ago, switched from an iPhone 7 and man let me tell you its the best phone decision I've ever made!. The amount of freedom you get is phenomenal. As a 5 year long apple user I have to say, the Note 8 blows any iPhone out of the water, new and old.

You can use the s PEN with Google keep.Just add it as a Shortcut. When you eject the Pen a little dial pops up with a choice of apps, just select Keep from there. I work from home and I'm constantly taking notes.

Same can be said for OneNote. I use OneNote on my Surface Pro and Note 8. Both have a pen. I added the shortcut for OneNote so that when I pull out my S-Pen, the air menu has OneNote on it. I click on that and take notes there. I can edit notes that I created with the Surface Pro Pen, and visa-versa. Its like having my Surface Pro in my pocket.

I use the Samsung Notes more for AOD quick notes that have a short shelf life. What I need to figure out is if there is a way for me to move my inked notes from the Samsung Notes app to OneNote if I change my mind later. That would be great.

I've had the Note 2, 4 and now the 8. My sons have the s8 and the s8+ and there is noticeable size difference, but I have no issues with the Note 8 size (I even like the fingerprint sensor location). The phone does have a smaller batter but manages the apps so well that it last me +15 hours during the week (my office is a batter killer, doesn't matter the phone or the carrier.) and well over 20 hours on the weekend. I really enjoy watching movies and shows on this phone, the screen is amazing and I am an S-Pen addict.

I'm interested in your apartment comment. I too was a 5 or 6 year Apple user exclusively until I made the switch to Android a little over a year ago now and I've gone through a ton of different phones but lately I've been wanting to go back to IOS. Being that you are like me and know Apple IOS best which do you think I should get the Note 8 or the iPhone 8? I'm highly torn and I have to make a decision by tomorrow. Please help!

When you had switched to android a year ago, have you had any of the previous notes versions? If not, you should really try the Note 8. You can spend plenty of time in stores testing it out if need be. I've had iPhone in the past, thru work but this makes it a no competition IMO. Love the Note 8. The versatility is priceless.

Note8, hands down. I can't find any reason why you should get any iPhone over the Note8 - does a lot more, screen a lot bigger and nicer, and overall a great device. You won't be disappointed.
