Thinking about going back to 2.1

I have EC05 and am rooted. Scince 2.2 the screen lag from sliding the keyboard closed is driving me nuts. A full 5 seconds if not more before the home screen re appears. I have tried a few trick found in a thread about recalibrating, over the head , flat surface, upside down flat surface and terminal emulatior recalibration- non have worked for any long amount of time
Also cannot add reminder or text notifications, I use missed call for phone and texts & calander snooz for the calander(missed call calander reminders dont work in 2.2).But ringo pro will not install on 2.2 to customize notifications. The stock tone are not cutting for me.

Does anyone have a solution for the above problems???? If not how can I go back to 2.1??
