Satellite internet already exists. Not sure what current costs are, but I wouldn't want it for anything other than basic web browsing or checking email. The ping time is massive, which causes problems with interactive activities like gaming.

I heard its affordable according to Elon Musk. And it's going to be Epic from a lot of review. We'll have to see, so far SpaceX already put up over 500 satellites.
