Thinking of going Nexus with a T-Mobile prepaid plan

I am thinking about selling my Iphone 4S, canceling my contract with ATT and going for the newly reduced Google Nexus phone with a T-Mobile pre-paid contract.

Is the Nexus a capable phone like my iPhone 4s? Anyone using a prepaid T-mobile plan and have any feedback on it?

I think the radios are more geared toward AT&T - AT&T just revamped their pre-pay plans and they are a way better deal then their contract plans. Frankly I'm considering this myself.

As far as capability goes - I think it's better than the iPhone, but that's just my opinion.
