thinking of switching ip4s to sg3

so i have an iphone 4s and am really bored with it (first world problems and all) my biggest concern is my wife and i share contacts and calendars on our iphones. will i still be able to sync contacts and calendars both ways with her? that really is the only thing stopping me from switching

It just depends on how you set it up. My wife set it up so know matter if its my iPhone or Galaxy S3, her and my calendar are synced up. When she adds or changes something I see it automatically. All I have to do is make sure her calendar is checked in my calendar settings.

What are you using for contacts/calendars now? iCloud, Gmail, Google Apps?

I did this exact switch (iPhone 4s to Galaxy S III). I use Gmail for my calendars, email and contacts and had no problems at all....as stated in the previous comment, it all really depends on how you are setup.

If you use iCloud there are several apps that sync iCloud and Google. They only sync a few things not all the many things that iCloud does. Don't sell your iPhone until you have used the S3 for a week or so. You may change your mind. Its fun at first to tinker but can get old when you are used to things just working.

Thats what I use and it syncs iCal and the Address Book perfectly. However, I do miss the iPhone 4S. It just seems smoother and of course more integrated. I sold my 4s, so I may reorder another one.

i know there are going to be some things i miss about the ip4s, but im sooooo bored with it and io6 looks to be more of the same. i want a bigger screen, not just taller, and i want to enjoy my phone again. i know, first world problems and a short attention span.

no trade, my 4s goes to my wife to replace her 4. she wont leave iphone. its what she knows and wants to stay with.

theres nothing i miss about the iphone .. everything works just fine on ICS on the S3 and HOX for me.. some things are actually integrated better on android now VS iOS..
