Thinking of switching to one of the New Data plans??

Last week I switched from my old More Everything Plan to the new Verizon Plan. Right now I have one line off contract so the access fee dropped $20, and at the end of this month the other line will be off so it will drop another $20.

I've been watching prices on phones looking for a deal to upgrade. Today I see that Verizon is no longer offering contracts on most of the phones. It's either full retail or device payment plan. They've been pushing the device payment thing so I guess this is their way of finally forcing even long time contract customers out of their contracts.

Probably, but I am surprised people stayed on the old plans. I moved my family off quite a while ago and we save a lot of money each month. We don't buy the latest and greatest phones. We either wait for a sale, or get phones on Swappa. If you stay off expensive monthly payment plans you can save a lot on the new plans.

I have a suggestion for you. Number one if you stick with Verizon lower your data plan don't pay them for what you're not using. Secondly and this is what I did and I recommend it to everyone if switch to Sprint. You can cut your regular rate plan and have such as the data plan then would be half of what you pay now you can choose any Verizon plan and the access charge will be cut and have also. They have lots of good phones for great prices not least of which is the buy one get one free on the Samsung S7 and Edge and iPhone 7. Also they have Samsung Galaxy J-3 buy 2 or more get them all free and LG Stylo 2 for $10 a month. I like Sprint as they still receive Verizon roaming so I'm never without service but it's so much cheaper. She would have thought Verizon would probably maybe be the next best but I'll seem to think that they are somewhat expensive. Is Sprint does not work out for you don't worry they have a 33 day trial if you don't like it just take it back and you're out nothing as far as I know. Best of luck Verizon is a very good company was very good service but I used to pay $150 for 2 lines on contract with one gigabyte of data. I know I have 3 on Sprint and after taxes and fees pay about $73 per month and I get 6 Gigabytes of data. You just can't compare those. Service is not being any problem for me I travel quite a bit but the only thing I notice is sometimes the data does not work but that's pretty rare only when you're way out in the country. Verizon has better service overall but Sprint has been waiting more than sufficient for me I plan to do a lot of traveling and really test it though I've only been a customer since last April. Never let me down yet

Sprint is awful in my area. All the unlimited data in the world from them means nothing when I get under 1 Mbps speeds.

Verizon is way overpriced. That plan must be two or $300 a month. Why don't you go to Sprint they have her $50 a month right now on limited everything it's usually 60. Sprint is the absolute best and no data limits whatsoever. I left her eyes and never looked back. Everyone else has either unlimited data or reasonable prices. Don't pay them all that money for service unless you need the service area. I highly recommend Sprint

Varies by location.

Unlimited from Sprint is worthless for my area. Sure no limits but also no data speed so you can't do anything anyway.

You must work for Sprint since you mention people should switch every opportunity you get. Sprint is last of the major 4 carriers and for good reason. The reason why they're so cheap is because otherwise no one would use them at all. You have to compete on price if you can't compete on coverage. Every single person in my area who has Sprint, hates it, but stay on it for monetary reasons. I hate having to pay Verizon so much and still deal with their BS, but overall it's worth it because I actually have coverage. It would be nice if you didn't plug Sprint every chance you get though, it is the Verizon forum, after all.

Okay. I only tried to say something about it when others seem to be looking for something other than Verizon. I used to have Verizon and got sick and tired of paying their prices they're the most expensive. I switched and I don't notice any difference my phone works the same everywhere I go it's just so much cheaper now. In my areas that are send me roll it is definitely sufficient. People love to hate on Sprint but it's really not that bad. There are lots of other good choices out there also another one of my huge all-time favorite is cricket or you can get cell phone service for $30 per month. Can't be that why would you pay Verizon 50 or 2 gigabytes and you could pay Cricket 35 for three. I'm surprised her ID and have any customers left they charge way too freaking much money. But they have a great Network and great store staff and great customer support and Great Falls so they're not all bad. But I refuse to pay almost $70 for one line of phone service. No way

You can get Verizon pp 7gb/$50 through wm. Obviously there are cheaper choices and i am glad that another carrier worked out better for you. But for me, Verizon is still the best choice by far for me. And data is 12 cents a gig assuming that i use all of my data allotment but i am on an old plan.

I recently got it directly from Verizon when I told the manager I'm seriously looking at TMOBILE's unlimited plan here in Denver. He told me to hold on and came back to me with the 7GB plan beginning this coming Bill cycle. Plus gave me another twenty bucks credit for this cycle. After many years with VZ, he didn't want me to leave.

When is good to season they care about their customers. Every time I call and complain about something they are always super good. I told them several months before I switch to Sprint that I was considering doing so and they gave me a $20 credit and told me to think about it for a while before I made a decision and then to do what was best for me it was kind of sad to leave actually. I might actually miss them every once in awhile Verizon is a good and fair and honest company that actually cares about its consumers but there are cheaper options and I like to switch my services around every couple years anyway. I think next time I might try mint Sim which is an mvno of T-Mobile for $11 for a month.
