This is ridiculous!

It's not there marketing i know about the phone i don't care if others do lol. I'm pissed that they can't deliver the phone on the time it was promised to be delivered.

I was just trying to gauge his reason for choosing one over the other, no badgering was meant. It really shows though how people gauge these devices, some look at it in terms of just the hardware. Others look at the manufacturer and because of past experiences decide if they want a device from them or not. Others take a look at both sides and weight the hardware and manufacturer experience on the same scale, so a better manufacturer experience with worse hardware might outweigh a worse manufacturer experience with better hardware. Unfortunately I think HTC will lose a lot of customers because of it.

Oh, and I'm just as pissed about the lack of a release date being posted and the possibility of it being delayed. It's not going to stop me personally from still getting it but it will definitely do it for others.

I ready to sell my Iphone5 whenever the one go on sell...please HTC just update something..

HTC really can't screw this one up. They've now got an amazing device that is worthy of serious marketing. They need to really be careful how they treat those who are interested. Because whether you like Samsung or not, they know how to pull customers in.

I'm using a pos atrix hd. I bought a note 2 thinking the one will be out before my 14 days and obviously it isn't.

I completely agree, Samsung has a massive budget for advertising. If HTC could get their their device on more screens and in more hands then I think they will do extremely well.

It's returned. It's too big and not something i want to be stuck with when the one and gs4 are coming

the note 2 is about the best device you can own currently. i would of kept it as i still love mine.

Kept it ant then what? Be out of 660$ and get the One or S4? Whats the point. I dont use the s-pen to me its completely useless, its still too big for everyday life.

My upgrade is up in may. I think if the HTC One has made it to Verizon by then, i'll get it. Otherwise i'll pick up the S4.

I don't believe that at all. It's the 16th and not one carrier announced a definite day or even a pre order

Rogers in Canada has on its website that per orders will arrive on the 22th or after, that means they will be shipped on monday or so.

I'm willing to buy it off contract. But I'm sick of checking everyday to see if they said something. I give up (sorta).

Lmao same. If its announced to be released in april and the gs4 is late april early may ill probably wait for the gs4. Which is what the majority of people will do IMO and thats the mistake htc is making putting them DoA.

I think this is all quite annoying too. But according to HTC we cant blame them? I shot them an email today acting like an angry customer saying my phone is on its last leg and i am waiting for the HTC one but i may have to get the GS3. (all fake btw im loving my HTC evo 3d) and they replied with a huge email saying they do not have control of when each individual carrier releases the phone, so looks like this all is on the carrier side according to htc. But if you look at the signs its pointing to a March 22nd release! That has always been the rumored date and with all the sites saying that the US date wont be pushed back i think thats what we are looking at. All the us carriers really only do pre orders a few days before and with the HTC Trade up program you now have until MARCH 22nd to order. I think we should be looking at march 22nd

One. But if it's out in April i will get the gs4 due to bad stigma on htc.

That's stupid. Get the device you want, even if you have to wait. Buying an S4 out of spite just means you'll be looking for a new phone and having to sell the S4 sooner rather than later.
