Not saying it sucks, just know the limitation. 4' on 2" plywood backed by concrete imo isn't as good as 4' on concrete directly. It is certainly better than most light duty like tpu style cases. Imo, looking at the case, it doesn't seem to have a lot of protection when dropped face down, compared to the ballistic urbanite, which is roughly the same weight but has raised lip at the edges. The ballistic urbanite is tested for 6',though I couldn't find any details on the testing method. The otterbox commuter on my note 3 also had a thick lip that would probably provide better protection against a face down drop as well. I don't have one in my note 4 though.

If you aren't concerned about dropping it directly on the face then the UAG is fine, imo . the corners are raised for edge impact.

Some posters have really gone out of there way to get the ugliest phone cover for their N4, it isnt a bloody Faberge egg ! lol.

Its something that you wont be using in about 18-24 months time.

So you think the uag is ugly i respect thats its something you like or not. What case do you use then?

Love my supcase. Had to have a belt clip. Very few to select from. Glad I got this.

Does anyone use the official screen protector from Samsung? If so would you recommend it?

I think the cost of the phone has to dictate the amount of protection. All of us probably want a decent looking phone but at 700.00 we sure don't want to be replacing them!

With many other people confirming the OP it sounds like a good case. BUT I don't think it is fair to assume a member has something to gain for sharing with the rest of us.
This case is ugly and bulky. Cheap in price and quality. The OP obviously has something to gain from it's sale.

I went with the Defender for my Note 4 only because Seidio refused to make an OBEX case for it. I work outside and at varying levels, so I need a bulletproof case. For what these phones cost, it makes no sense to carry the phone naked, which also renders the matter of styling on the phone moot.

Anyone can suggest the best case that allows you to get it off off and on easily for battery exchange for a spare battery.

I bought the very same case, after a few days I felt it too bulky. It lies in the cupboard with the other dozen or so cases.

I've been searching for this exact info for hours. I'm a mom of 1 (soon to be 2), but I dont carry a purse. I need maximum protection on most days. I had a Defender on my Note 2 and it provided excellent protection on daily drops from tile, hardwood, concrete... I would like something a bit slimmer. I really don't give two craps about the aesthetics. I need this to be a powerhouse and well protected (splashes of water) and would prefer to be slimmer if possible. In a day of normal (above most average) use, the battery drains pretty quick and I need to recharge during the day for even a few minutes. Looked at buying a spare battery but if I got a UAG case it sounds like it s a nightmare to take out of the case. With my old Note 2 in the Defender at the beach, sand got everywhere... this SUPCASE is nice because it protects more, including the s pen port. But like a pp said, the port covers do get a bit annoying for charging.... and I know I use the s pen a lot to take my millions of notes that are required for a forgetful preggo with a serious case of mom-brain. Efficiency for pulling the pen out and putting it back in is a bit of a drawback.
Looking for input!!!
