Okay, we're going to come up with a new rating system for apps:

My proposal:
(from best to worst)
5 Stars: It blows my freaking mind how amazing this is
4 Stars: This app is better than breakfast
3 Stars: Meh, I use it... would like something better
2 Stars: I wish I didn't use this app... actively seeking better.
1 Stars: Uninstalled within the first 5 minutes... don't care if something better exists, this is just terribad and the developer should be exiled.

Any Google app currently in existence = 6 stars.

There is no way it is going to be a complete overhaul. My guess is that they will change the look and and a power toggle widget. That's it.

I doubt that. they did say they will be opening up API's and the NC widgets may be on of the API's that get opened up.

What happened?

Doesn't look like there is an easy fix. Now that her phone is over 30 days old she will need to send it in, but even after that it doesn't look good as many of my friends have been complaining about the same problem. BAD APPLE.
