Throttling?

If I'm being throttled by Verizon is it simply a matter of of looking at my notication bar and seeing that I've gone from 4G to 3G or 2G?

Don't think I've been throttled yet but enquiring minds want to know.

Should still show 4G as you'll still be connected to 4G network. Speeds will just be slower than normal.

You won't know, when we throttle the network the phone will show 4g

If video is not playing or it's constantly buffering, good chance your being throttled if your in a good reception area

I'll probably opt for YouTube video. As I said, to date no real problems except with what I expect are slow sites. Again, thanxs everyone.

Do a speed test with ookla or similar, note results then go to fast.com (netflix d/l speed site) and compare.

As I've said I haven't seen any evidence of throttling but my data estimates 50 gigs between August 1 and August 31.

Throttling happens only if your in a heavily congested area.
