Thumb Keyboard Beta w/multi-touch

I hate where the keyboard go away button was moved. Is there a way to move it back?

Key press sounds no longer work.

What happened to the enter button when using Google talk? Now its stupid Smileys. Also the keyboard clicks aren't very loud.

So is it just me or does the keyboard force close when typing an apostrophe after the letter I by holding the V key?

How do I get it? I uninstalled my paid version. I tried the main server, but can not get in. the mirror starts download, but never finishes. Cello get the older version back? I'velost my keyboard!

Got it! Wow. Great app. Even better than before.

Got sick of some of the changes with the beta and uninstalled and am now using previous version.

I have tried many keyboard add-ons and this is my favorite. I do have another question, though. I use an RDP connection (Xtralogic) to remote in to our work server and the word suggestions do not appear. They are there when using other input screens on the Xoom, but not through the server. Other keyboard add-ons (SlideIT, etc.) have the suggestions visible, even on the server. Is there a setting I am missing? This would be a tremendous help, though it is great without it.

Maybe there's a cure for this. What made you sick? The extra shift key? I will provide an option to loose it and return to the current market version layout. If there are any other changes you don't like, please let me know. I want to provide this upgrade for free to current users instead of offering it as a new app.

I will have a look a this.

I think its grate! But what about a Portuguese-BR dictionary? I really need this to work with my language.
The Xoom was recent released in Brasil and there's no alternative keyboard in Portuguese. Even the native Xoom keyboard doesn't support Portuguese yet.
I've heard about new Swiftykey for tablets, but its still in private beta.

Here's my two cents:

1. Lose the extra shift (right side), move up the 'enter' key and slide the period and space bar all the way over. My biggest criticism is three keys with differently shaped arrows stacked on top of each other. Cognitive dissonance.

2. The menu that pops up under .com key should be under the thumb, not to the left of it. It's easier to slide back to the right than stretch to the left. Same for the shortcuts key.

3. Any way to extend the spacebar lower? I find I'm missing spaces a lot more for some reason.

4. Option to have the enter key say enter rather than another arrow?

5. Enter key missing on Google Talk (as noted above).

So far so good. Keep up the good work.

I LOVE the new multi touch keyboard. I've been using it for a few weeks, but I've been traveling and haven't had a chance to post. The multitouch is really nice, I REALLY like being able to hold down shift while typing.

I also like how the tab and .com buttons are now positioned. I don't remember exactly how the old keyboard was laid out, but I find myself pushing backspace a lot inadvertently, and I don't remember that being a problem in the past...

This is the best off all keyboards...I'm looking forward to this leaving beta so I can install the market version again.

I am still using the Stock Android Keyboard, this needs a number of fixes, and to me the style of the keyboard is weird, it makes it feel like a smart phone. To me a Tablet needs a Tablet keyboard, not something scaled down. Sure it makes it comfortable, but I never ever had an issue with the Stock Android Keyboard( besides there being no proper multi touch and the issue that is also present on Gingerbread) . Other than that there is really nothing wrong with the Honeycomb keyboard, just needs a little tuning. If there were something like the Honeycomb keyboard that didn't have as many issues, then it would be all great in the world, but for now if the selection of soft keyboards on the Xoom does not fit your taste, use a keyboard.
