Race what are u getting usage wise with that 2750? i ordered one to come on monday.

I don't have any accurate info to give you. I will need to run it for a few days to even be able to give good anecdotal information. From a few hours of use the extended battery is showing well but I don't know if I'm going to get a battery drop at some point along the way, I won't know that for some time yet.

I'm worried, im seriously considering taking this bad boy back. My epic 4g would last me all day with the same amount of use (im at work, barely have time to play with it )

You guys must be running alot of widgets, live wallpapers, sync often, high screen brightness and etc. Im getting pretty decent battery life. I made sure to charge up phone completely yesterday then DRAIN until phone shut off and been getting good battery life. Been browsing Android Central, using apps [Plume, FB, MediaShare, Ebay] 30 texts, and im only missing one bar.

Yea I am. I havent fooled with it much since im at work but I really dont see a way to turn the 4G off. Can I get some assistance on that from someone? Dont see it in the settings.

Is your friend stream running? that think absolutely pwned my battery today until i figured out that it was doing this. I was on 4g a bunch too. Once i turned off friend stream, the standby was barely using any battery life

Wouldn't be surprised if that's the problem with a lot of these guys. If your battery is dropping 20% an hour when you aren't even touching the phone, then there's probably some widget pulling down too much data.

My advice, if you think the battery life is bad, delete ALL of your widgets and see how it is then. If it gets better, then try adding them back in one at a time and see which one is really killing your battery.

For those not in 4g like me unless I travel, I use Phone Info from the Market Place. Change phone from cdma+LTE to CDMA AUTO( PRL).
Only way to switch off 4g until a release is sent our way

How do u delete a widget?

Long press on it until the phone vibrates and you see a trash can at the bottom of the screen, then drag it to the trash.

Wow that's fugly imo. I need some more juice. I'm averaging 4 hrs on a full charge. I had 60% on the way to work and 30 min later it went down to 52% and I didn't even use it. I live in an area where I get 4g everywhere.

Just use an airplane mode widget during times when you aren't actively able to use the phone anyways, or when you want to reduce distractions (while driving, at the gym, in meetings, focused on a project, etc.).

I turn on airplane mode every time it goes in my pocket anyways, since that sort of radio signal that close to my junk is scary.

That doesn't help people that NEED to USE their phone ALL day. I use a bluetooth to keep my hands free, and need to take calls, make calls, send emails, read emails and occasionally look stuff up on the internet. Turning all the gizmos on and off all day long is not going work for me.

I really, really wanted this to be my Storm 1 replacement. But if I can't get it (or me) to work, it's going back to Verizon. Verizon couldn't even transfer my contacts to this phone from my Storm, so I am putting some of them in manually, just so I can use it.

My wife just said; Blackberry's are for business, Droids are toys. I'm beginning to believe her. Very nice toys, of course.

There's a 1600mAh battery that's the same size by seidio.. but thats not much of an improvement and 3rd party batteries rarely live up to their mAh claims..

Siedio (not sure if I spelt it right). It's a 1600 mAh vs the 1400 but I'm not sure how big of a difference that would make. My Droid x stock 1500mAh could do 15 hrs easy and when I underlocked I could do 23 hrs avg of pretty heavy use
