so we are still getting different answers on pricing an someone even said pushed back to 28th. i called 1-800 number again, they said $199.99 on 2 year contract an feb 14th. an i could go an pre order starting today for $50 making $150 when picked up
wish best buy would stay open till 9 tonight.....id go put deposit down at half time cuz i have a feeling we will get more info from the commercials....
think ill do it tomorrow morning...i just really need to confirm that the 32g card DOES come with it...thats a deal breaker for me

That's inevitable unfortunately. It's amusing how AT&T and Verizon are going back and forth with these iPhone 4 commercials now. And it seems AT&T's only strong point is using voice and data at the same time...which I doubt is important to the average consumer.
I just caught one of 'em. That's pathetic lol. ATT still holding on to the only thing they have. Though the average customer really doesn't care, that's all they got to work with.
Any else see sneaky pandas tweet today? He mentioned best buy is selling it for $199? Possibly, who knows... I hope its 199 at vzw too.
the average customer cares more than you think. here's why...
the average customer doesn't know what to care about. they see a commercial like this and say to themselves "hey, that's kind of a big deal" .. they don't realize it isn't, they don't recognize how unlikely they are to ever be in a situation where they need that feature, but they hear about it and think it's important.
Amen!! I am out of town so my girlfriend got my pre-order... they confirmed the 14th (there the Grand Rapids store that leaked the 14th the other day) and said they would all Sunday and set up a appointment to get the phone... Then I heard about the memory card and got pissed off... but she said on the sheet they gave here it shows the 32GB card included.

yeah, well after looking again, you guys are right, not a superbowl ad. but i no there is a xoom an iphone will def have ad. but come on verizon. spend the money an show the world this phone. or just tell us. cause im dying to get it

Preordered mine today, pretty excited about it. I asked the guy about dates and he said that they were told to expect it on the 14th, but that it's subject to change. The only annoying thing, for me, was that they don't let you put more than $50 down. I got 85 back when I returned my Fascinate and case (I bought the phone for 50 a month ago), and just wanted to put all of that cash towards the next one. I guess I could just use the remaining 35 and buy another gift card so that it's not money I can spend elsewhere, but I don't know why it's an issue to begin with.
used the trade in as well for the fascinate, got $172 plus another $24 for two old feature phones in order to offset the cost.
This is true, but I was in my 30 day trial period, and if I sold it for 200 then I wouldn't have an upgrade discount available to buy the Thunderbolt with. It made more sense this way, 85 is exactly what I spent on the phone and the case.
Got mine reserved. Im the first and only one as far as i know to pre-order here in Tuscaloosa. that was as of 4 this afternoon
