Phil, I hope you are right.. I really do...but why are several sources on PH and DL saying 2/24? They are saying it is confirmed. But you have a screen for 2/14. I hope you are right but this is driving me crazy!

If BB doesn't see phones on a 1 year contract, I think I'll stick with getting it at VZW even if I have to wait.

Thanks for that. I used it before, but I wasn't sure if it factored in early upgrade options, since early upgrade technically isn't part of the 2 year contract I signed with VZW.

Everything that I've heard and read leads me to believe that BB will not honor this, only VZW stores/online.

1-yr contracts appear to be available only through VZW

Yeah, yeah. Another date. But I'm looking at a screen shot that the source swears is the Thunderbolt. There's clearly a Feb. 14 in-stock date at Best Buy.

Unfortunately the source doesn't want me to show the pic just yet. :-/

Will try to persuade him/her otherwise.

Edit: Persuasion complete. So note the model number. But a second source confirms it's a placeholder for a Verizon phone, and you can pick it up at Best Buy on Feb. 14. It is NOT the iPhone. lol

that is possible, since Best Buy won't be carrying the iPhone 4 supposedly for verizon.

That could make sense.The Verizon stores will have their hands full with the first rush of iPhone buyers so let BB handle the Bolt's release. Verizon doesn't care they get their money one way or the other.

But Heres an argument as to why placing the TBolt launch 14 days after the iphone doesn't make any sense:

There will still be a TON of purchases of the iPhone the day after its release, which gives a 1 day overlap with the TB release making it perfectly possible to return and switch.

We've all been personally told by (what is it 4 or 5?) people directly from VZW that it will be the 13th/14th. Plus this screen shot from best buy...

Why would be believe Droid-Lifes "people" that its the 24th?

We might not agree but to the general public nothing beats the "Verizon getting the iPhone" hype.VZW will make the iPhone release it's top priority,at least in the short term.

I TOTALLY agree! I am dying to see a prize fight between these two. I really wanted to see a prize fight between the Evo and the DesireHD but couldn't find one. Will be very interesting to see these monsters battle it out.
