When will the BOGO be available for the TB? I want get the TB for myself and the wife. I know Verizon has BOGO promotion for certain phones, will this be one of them?

Don't think you'll see this until at least late in the calendar year. Droid Inc came out in April 2010, and I don't think the 'Buy One Get One' free promo started on it until around the holiday shopping season (November). Also, BOGO deal was only for 2 year contracts; just something to keep in mind.

I'm hoping since the Iphone will be released earlier then the TB, Verizon will choose to have the BOGO Promo earlier then usual to keep up sales with the Iphone.

One thing Verizon has on everyone is their willingness to do BOGO. Can't wait to see them do a BOGO on iPhone4 before they get 5. People won't have a clue what to do.

I read two things tonight, first Mobile HotSpot is back on for TB launch. Second is this HTC Thunderbolt to Launch February 13th at Best Buy? an internal image from BB showing the TB as available on 2-13. Now we all agree the dates are all over the map, but this one caught my attention if only for the fact when do retailers ads appear, on SUNDAY, and the 13th is a Sunday. So its possible BB gets it early for two weeks to make up for the iPwn they don't get.

Either case I need to get a phone now.

Since we have one for the 14th, and one for the 13th, It may be possible that the 13th is the day they're getting it in, and the 14th is the day it goes on sale. Or some sort of regional release?

I know this doesn't mean scratch to anyone but I went by the VZ store on my way home just to browse. Talked to a girl I went to school with and she stated that they had already had training. I asked when it would be available and she stated Feb. 14th. I asked specifically if that would be instore and she confirmed. I asked her to reconfirm that she said Feb. 14th and she said yes. She stated they already had training on it and simply stated "OMG, it's amazing! Sooo fast and smooth as butter. I like the sense thingy they had on it, it was alot smoother than my Droid X for some reason." Take it for what it's worth, she didn't hesitate when I asked the date and I've known this girl for 16 years. I hope she's right because I'm letting the 3rd of Feb. slip by me in hopes that she is right.

I went into Verizon today, as well. The employee has been there for several years that I can remember. He wouldnt confirm a specific date but said the TB would be released in Feb sometime after the iphone launch.

Verizon is saying it will be here earlier than expected.

Also, based on info that was given to 130 sales reps this morning, I have reason to believe we'll find out the official release date today and it will be Feb 14th.

Not 100% certain it's today, but from several of my "sources", I've heard that there are "HTC ThunderBolt Launch Events" this week, and one said that 130 sales reps were told this morning it's the 14th. I'll post any more details I gather.

Why would you leave a samsung fascinate and use a storm? I have a storm and while it does e-mail, battery life and phone calling well, everything else on it pretty much is a stinker...

Not for functionality, it's just the only phone that I have to fall back on and I'm still in my 30 day return period. Make no mistake, it will be a very long 2-4 weeks :'(

The whole BestBuy not getting the Iphone/Getting Thunderbolt instead is bunk guys. TIPB.com shows that Bestbuy is getting the Iphone on the February 10, which would be 4 days ahead of the so called BestBuy Date. This **** is getting old, VZW is just frustrating me caving to the d*mn i*hone. See the link.
