another question regarding LTE coverage, specifically I'm in NYC and it is a LTE market but how much coverage are we really talking about,, just manhattan, the 5 boroughs, or most of everywhere that has 3G coverage currently? what about in the tristate area (North New Jersey, Southwest Connecticut, Westchester, etc)

I dont have the link on me, but there is a 4G coverage map on Verizon's website.

NYC is covered (yay!) as is north east NJ. Not sure about CT or Westchester.

I'm excited. When I logged into my Verizon account it shows: Upgrade Status You are eligible for New Every Two on 03/22/2011. In the meantime I hope to hear more about the battery life issue... and wonder if Bionic will come with the same unlimited data plan.

I'm sorry if this was already posted, but it looks like BestBuyMobile took down the Thunderbolt page that had the $99 price listed. It looks like what happened was they listed it with all the Incredible's info (pricing and specs), and obviously realized their mistake. Does anyone know if they will honor that price? I have a printed version of the page as well as a saved soft copy. Thanks for any help!

Then select 4G Data Coverage and click the Refresh Map button. It looks like most of NYC and the majority of LI has LTE. Connecticut only has LTE to Greenwich (not very far).

I have not been able to find the non-contract price at a verizon store for the TB.

I know BB is showing 749.00 but surely VZ is not going to be that amount.

I was wanting to know because I am not eligible to upgrade yet, and I am going to have to buy this thing outright

For those wondering about skype and video calling that is still being finalized and should be avail within the coming weeks. They are close so expect it very soon... qik tech for video compression hicups are being ironed out to ensure the service is up to par with wired video calling solutions.

Wouldn't highlight the new network if video calling only worked on wifi.... would it Jobs?

I know I asked last night about VZW putting the phone on my first month's bill, as opposed to paying for it in the store at the time of purchase. As a new Verizon customer, does anyone know if there's a limit to how high the bill can be (in other words, will the first month, and the $250 price fit on one bill, or will I need to pay at least some of it in the store)? And is there something I need to do to qualify for it (credit check, my bill history at AT&T, etc.)? I have a wedding this weekend, and would prefer not to pay for the phone at the same time I'm paying for all that other stuff. Thanks for any help.

BB usually jacks up the full retail price of their phones. The Verizon iphone 4 16gb was $699 at BB, and $599 at Apple. BB since changed their price, but I'm sure VZWs off contract price will be much lower.

LOOOOONG time iPhone user here and AT&T hater the same. Ive dabbled a bit in Android but never found THAT device to replace it. The Evo was close but Sprint is less than enjoyable where I live. Along comes the Thunderbolt and then the delays.... I read up on LTE during the wait and find out that im in an LTE market, SCORE! So i've pre-ordered it and signed up to port my number from that piss poor AT&T service. But im definitely suffering from the "holy crap what did i just do" panic lol. Anyways, no pain no glory, right?? I've been following a lot of the threads in here, especially the "storm brewin" thread and appreciate all the great info you guys have provided, especially the info from bennnnn who's helped keep the foaming rabid dogs in here calm..
