Thunderbolt vs Bionic

Sure can, but it wouldn't be useful. My phone is often running BeyondPod or Sirius with the display off. If I could actually look at the phone all day, I'd probably have more trouble with the battery.

The point is mr.miagi was surprised more people aren't worried about the small battery. Clearly some are from the other thread we already have here, but as it pertains to the TB vs Bionic discussion I'm not.

In no way am I arguing the battery life is great, just that it's not a major concern.
I agree that saying "major" concern would be hyperbolic. Mainly because we haven't used the phone yet. However, anyone thinking they can magically make awful battery life great with a flash of a kernel is grossly misinformed.

Sure it may not make a 15 hour battery go 25, but a good kernel can make a non-trivial difference. I certainly notice longer performance (i.e. 20% left at 10pm rather than 10%) on kernels with the smartass governor than those without. I haven't been monitoring it as closely as some do though.

See, I'm the type of person who just needs to have the latest and greatest piece of technology, WHICH IS WHY I'M GETTING THE iPHONE4!!!!

No, I'm kidding.

But seriously, I used to worry that dual-core phones would make 1GHz Snapdragon phones lame, but then I thought about what I use my phone for, and realized that as cool as it would be to tell your colleagues that your phone is faster than their netbooks, I really don't need that technology. Yet.

Constant emailing, TweetDeck, NYT, WSJ, sports blogs, RSS feeds, and occasional document creating. I think this second generation SD processor will be more than great for my purposes.

Yea unless you're planning to go hardcore with the gaming then the Bolt is fine. The T2 procs will have a lot more gaming juice than the SD/Adreno combo.

Is it even possible to do "hadcore gaming" on Android phones? I'm new to Droids so I really asking. This IS something I may be interested in so I may have to hold off for the Bionic. Are there any games out that could be considered "hardcore" for Android?

I like your posts, but "hyperbolic" is simple conics in math. Nothing speculative about it. I can't stand this vs that threads, but they are entertaining. I hear the Bionic has some "major" issues with the PLU. I think I am going to wait. I like the HTC TB, it is like an EVO! Too bad hot spot wont work on it when released.

Absolutely there will be games for those processors...

I'm guessing though that from your general attitude while here and the attitude from the comment above that you are a troll.

Nooooooo, this thread was happily dead.....Fight on AC Phone wars lol!

I haven't seen the FM Radio feature listed with the Bionic anywhere, did you double check?
