Time displaying in the left hand corner of notification bar after Feb 2019 T-Mobile software update

[Android Central Question]

I have a clock widget on my Galaxy S9 since purchase 11/2018. After the Feb 2019 T-Mobile software update, suddenly the time is also showing in the upper left-hand corner of my notification bar and can't figure out how to get rid of it. I tried restart and the notification settings.

Did you ever resolve that? I just ran into it on a Verizon Samsung S8 Pie update. It is super annoying.

The only clock I am using, is a basic clock-date widget on my home screen.

seems a little overkill. I'll stop at the Verizon store. Maybe they have run into this..

It's not a overkill, it's added features that stock Samsung settings can't change . Good luck I'm not sure they will help as this been like that since Android 9 (pie)
