Time is money so everybody is buying a 45w charger (vs stock 25w charger)?

I really don’t get the time is money so I need a 45w charger statement. It isn’t like I plug in my phone and sit there and wait while it charges. I do other things while it charges. Doesn’t affect my day 1 bit.

Well I think the "time is money" angle is a joke. I do think fast charging is important though. I keep my phone on a wireless charger most of the day at work, so it's not a problem phone-wise. But I wear my Galaxy Watch all day and all night, so when it's time to charge it after it's down to 20% (usually at the end of the second day), it does get annoying to wait for two hours while it charges. I wish Samsung would support its wearable line as reliably as it does the phones.

I've no real use for 45w charge but it would be nice if my Asus Chromebook 45w charger worked, besides that I think I would get a 45w car charger first

I have to wonder if that 45 watt charger will generate enough heat in the battery to have a detrimental affect on its life.

I wondered the same. Keep thinking about the note 7 disaster.

So if we buy the new wireless charging base, does the power source it come with charge wirelessly as fast as it will charge, or can we add the 45 watt power source to the wireless charger and charge wirelessly faster?

This is what I am also worried about. I have to buy another charger anyway so I would be throwing away extra 25$ if it didn't make a big difference in charge speed and can live with that, but if it ruins my phone battery, I won't be happy at all.

Edit: I have ordered 25w one, people seem to be worried 45w would put much stress on the battery. I may still order a 45w one.

Where did you find the 25w charger?

If anyone is considering the new RAVPower GaN tech 45W PD charger (Model #RP-PC104), I just confirmed with RAVPower support that it doesn't support the PPS standard necessary to enable full 45W charging on the Note 10+.

With the current rate of fast charging I see no need for a super fast charger. I also feel a higher rate of charge my impact battery life.
I say this for my needs, but if anyone feels they need it, by all means get it.

I've always had this set-up and it makes sense to me, might be helpful for others:
I keep a normal charging wireless pad next to me in bed, and i keep the fast-charging by my PixelBook. It's either I'm on my PixelBook or my Note 9 anyway, so one item is being charged with the fast-charging charger while I use the other. And the normal charge by bed is since I'll be sleeping anyway, what's the rush to charge my idle Note 9?

Since I ordered 2 Note 10+, with one of the credits I used it on the "speed, convenience & more kit" which comes with the 45W plug. If I had to pay out of pocket, I wouldn't have purchased it. Too expensive for just a plug and not enough difference in charging from the 25W that comes with the phone in my opinion.

I ordered the 45 watt charger,and the new 15 watt wireless charger from Best Buy. I received the 15/wireless 2 days ago,and the 45 watt won't be here for another week. My Note10+ will be here this Weds,so I'm ready!(well still waiting on my Otterbox Symmetry case,which is supposed to be here tomorrow).

Note 10 doesn't support 45w charging.

I don't think your pixel charger will work. I read it somewhere where a bunch of chargers were tried and didn't work.
