I don't want to VOID my warranty by rooting...if something happens to my phone and I root I'm screwed...that is why I choose not to root.
What he said - I'd love to root, but not until my warranty is expired. I don't trust HTC's manufacturing quality enough to void my warranty for a few minor enhancements. My phone rules as is, I can wait for Froyo (not even sure what the big deal is with Froyo!).
