Toggling between 3G and 4G, in 4G area but no service.

Here is my issue I got the LTE toggle Widget and I try to stay in 3G to save battery. When I toggle to 4G my phone picks up that I am in a 4G area and it says LTE and I see data moving ( arrows are flickering ) problem is when I try to use the internet or any type of service it just doesnt work until I reboot the device and end up killing 1/2 my battery.

What gives? If I toggle back to 3G or WIFI I get service and the internet works.

it sucks having to reboot but I really doubt it kills half of your battery, common now.

call tech support. I am in 4g area as well, I just get bad service at my house I could drive a mile in each direction it works great. Sometimes it works great at home but sometimes it doesn't. They pretend like they are fixing it but I really dont think they care, 4g LTE is new so I am sure verizon got some work cut out for them.

The funny thing is I know I have service I see the 4G and after reboot everything works fine.

I guess I will just use the extended battery and leave myself on 4G all day.
