Totally disappointed with display and camera.

The sound on recorded videos is definitely not the best. In quiet scenarios you'll hear a loud hiss in the background. You also won't pick up ambient sounds that well. Noise suppression is too aggressive IMO. If you don't take many videos, the sound is OK, but certainly nothing great.

My Pixel 3 definitely has pinkish shade to it. Definitely brighter and more vibrant than Pixel 2, but the pixel 2's display doesn't have that pinkish hue on white backgrounds. LG still doesn't quite know how to do screens as well as Samsung does.

I was not impressed with Samsung camera on their latest flagship phones. Pixel and iPhones were better than Samsung cameras for me as well.
I have a Note 9 and mine takes great pics, even in low light. Had the Pixel 2 XL before which also took good pics. My Pixel 3 is coming next Tuesday and I am sure the pics will be good.

I have different opinion on the Note 9 camera as I don't have any issues and it's far from garbage. it's right up there with the pixel camera. also I have the snapdragon Note 9 so I don't know if that makes a difference plus Samsung sending a camera update soon for better results and freezes.

Ya know, I have to say I really can't see or notice anything on my P3 .. Maybe it's just my eyes .. Maybe because I keep the brightness around 40% indoors .. Either way, if it's there it's invisible to me for all practical purposes.

Yeah it seems Google learned their lesson. This time the pixel 3 has the worse screen by switching the panel manufacturers.

The iPhone XS Max certainly does NOT blow the Pixel 3 XL away. I had the iPhone XS Max and it's good. I prefer the display, the speakers, and the video recording (4K @ 60fps and better sound) on the iPhone, but the Pixel 3 XL takes better pictures, has better battery life in my usage, and it's an Android (I prefer Android to iOS).
I’ll agree in low light Pixel is better. Daylight, iPhone looks better in every shot I’ve seen. Pixel photos appear dark and lifeless in comparison. Battery life on iPhone Max is better as well. Multiple YouTube videos showing this. I love the Android part, but like you said; speakers, display and video are better on iPhone. I’ll include daylight photos and battery to that.
