When my phone is plugged in to power, touching the screen causes random touch events and wreaks havoc. In fact, my finger need only be near the screen without touching it to induce havoc.
Subsequently unplugging the phone sent the phone to the opposite extreme, making it unusually insensitive to touch, often ignoring my finger. Unplugging the phone and turning the display off and back on again (quick presses of the power button) resolved the issue.
I noticed this once before, failed to duplicate it on a second attempt, and am now seeing it again. I recall seeing someone else mention this behavior before. I am using a generic USB power cable though, if that could be the problem.
MOTOROLA, PLEASE FIX.
