Trade in Accepted?

Has anyone gotten notification from Samsung that they trade has been accepted? They have had mine since 7/31 (Ultra) and 8/4 (GW7) and still shows Pending Receipt on the website. I know they are very slow to update this info from previous experience, but I have not heard of anyone getting any traction on their trade-in yet.

Yep, both Watch 5 Pro and Buds 2 Pro trade ins accepted earlier this week. Both arrived at the same time in TX, separate boxes. Buds 2 were accepted within about 48 hours, Watch 5 took about 5 days. Hope that helps..

I also sent my Buds Live Trade-In on 8/7 and they are schedule to arrive 8/12. So three trade-ins and no traction (I don't expect any on the Buds Live yet)

My Watch 5 Pro still shows Delayed status at FedEx location in Texas ( as of 26 Jul) on the FedEx tracking site. However, I did get a "Trade-in Success" text and email from Samsung on Wednesday this week (7 Aug).

My Watch 6 Classic was received the other day. They haven't inspected it yet. I mailed it in on August 3rd.

I've been dealing with they've had my watch 6 for a while I was told to return my defective watch which I did and they received I bought a new watch I already have it and I was told my trade-in would go over to the new watch $200. And it said deferred when I looked at my old purchase of the defective watch that I returned.

My new watch says I have to turn my trade in by the 15th. Well I wasn't really worried about it cuz of what the supervisor told me then I get an email saying they're sending back my watch trade in because I returned the watch I was like but it's supposed to roll over to the new watch I never got the old one back and it says it's due by the 15th on the new watch.

Luckily I spoke to the manager that I had been dealing with and she said oh you were supposed to email me back about that and she right away did some kind of manual thing now everything's accepted and I'm getting my $50 RSVP credit back. Plus I ended up with an extra band for my troubles so everything worked out good for me. I'm getting two more fabric bands in the mail because my second watch I had to order came with a color I didn't like but I'm wearing it it's green and I didn't get the green watch but for some reason I love the way these fabric pants fit me and they don't irritate my skin I'm getting my pink and white one back which was the free one with my first order and there's a wine color which I can't wait to get.

I'm so glad it finally worked out for you. They definitely made it hard but your persistence paid off.

OMG! You won't believe this after the manager yesterday told me I should of emailed her right away and she would've taken care of it which she did I was out of town so now under my account where it had said ship by 8/15 it now says manually complete. Plus of course the email that says I will re get credit of $50 for my RSVP. Guess what shows up at our house today my husband brought it in when he left for work I was gone my old watch 6. I am charging it up to make sure it's a watch 6 but what do I do now? I'm already marked complete. Ok, So I am still confused a little. Normally you don't get charged on your card till after trade-in is accepted correct? Cause once they received my defective watch I ordered new one on 7/28 and didn't realize till just now when looking for my husbands buds charge I see my watch charge on 7/28 not his buds. He got approved a week ago. The supervisor lady I had been dealing with did say my trade-in would roll over to the new watch but I never looked for the charge on my credit card.

I just got upset cuz I got this em ail saying your trade-in is due back by 8/15 and if you're not home to sign for it we will take it back and recycle it. Supervisor wasn't calling me back and regular person when I called said yeah once a return trade-in comes back if you buy a new one you have to send it back again. I even had a return label waiting. Under my watch trade-in it had said deferred. But on the 12th supervisor lady said no nothing to worry about she said I will take care of it and all of a sudden my trade-in says manually completed and my email states no charge back. She said I shouldn't of talked to someone else she had been off and I was supposed to email her when I got new watch and other had been returned I think. But my charge for new watch shows the day I ordered it.

I did my trade-in on the phone a couple years ago, and it got completed manually after calling to dispute about my trade-in got cracked screen. I provided photos of the phone, powering on and conditions of the phone in the packing box to Samsung customer service. She quickly informed she would take care of it, and my trade-in was shown completed manually on the order. So if you have the trade-in shown as completed regardless of how. There will be no charge back to your credit card. I did not see on my card.

It's definitely crazy.

Did they credit you back for returning the defective Watch 7?

I wouldn't think they would charge you back the $200 dollars if the trade-in is marked complete. Someone would have to manually go in & issue a charge.
