Trade-In Received by Samsung

I still haven't received the results of the trade in that was received on Monday. I see few people that had their trade in received by Samsung on Monday got their confirmation yesterday. I'm still waiting for mine hopefully will receive today.

I'm also waiting for Samsung evaluation of my trade in. They received it on Tuesday. Since it's in pristine condition and works perfectly, I should get the full credit. My fear, is that they claim it doesn't boot up or it has a "moisture in the charging port" issue and they don't give me full value.

UPDATE:

I just got an email from Samsung stating they tested and accepted my S10 trade in.

Got an email this afternoon that my S20 Ultra has been approved for the full trade-in amount. Definitely a quicker turnaround time between them receiving it and notifying me, compared to last year.
 
Just recieved my email that everything was good and my trade in wa successful.

Nope nothing still. Just curious where did everyone send their phone? This time mine was sent to Hyla mobile in Tennessee. Generally I think it’s Ingram in Texas and I believe I saw someone on Reddit mention that he had 2 trade ins and one was sent to Ingram and one to Hyla.

Wondering those who had their trade in accepted, which trade in center was your phone sent? Seeing if that makes any difference in how fast they are making the decision.

I wonder how much testing they will do before deeming it worth the $550 advertised trade-in value? It's in pristine condition, so I'd better get the full price!

Took video of my IMEI with a witness and showed phone was in excellent condition and isn't locked.
S10 plus trade in better he accepted with no problems
 
This is the third time I've used trade in program (s10, s20+, s21 ultra). First time Samsung said I did not factory reset. Second time they charged my credit card a few weeks after they accepted trade in for full value.

It took multiple phone calls and a few weeks to finally resolve both issues in my favor. I'm really hoping third time is smoother. Good luck with your trade in.

This is what I'm nervous about. Once , they even credited me for an older iPhone I didn't even send.

Any update on your trade in? Mine was just sent out to this place as long as fed ex doesn't steal it!! LOL

Lol no haven't heard anything still. May be they screwed up to send the final email I don't know. I'll contact Samsung later today and see what's going on since it's been more than a week now.
 
Update: Just rec'vd email saying trade-in accepted. Just never got one saying received at their end.

I used my own FedEx label rather than the included one. Done it before no trouble. Shows recvd on 1st but still getting emails last day to trade in. And, no email from Sammy acknowledgement they received item. It's been a week.

I included my FedEx tracking label copy, the one they provided, and even the shipping label from the S21 - which arrived 1/27.

For all the ways Apple and Samsung copy each other I really prefer dealing with Apple shipping and handling, and AppleCare+.

I really want to send this one back and get S21+. Not idea how to do it.

Still worried I'll be paying remainder of Care+ for 30 months on old phone.

Yeah, definitely call! This is my first time sending to Hyla Mobile for Sammy trade in, all others I've done have been Ingram Micro. So hoping Hyla doesn't screw up! Keep us posted on your call and the outcome!

Why would you use your own FedEx label instead of the one provided by them? The additional form that you need to include with the label they provide automatically is tied to the trade in and once the trade in facility receives and scans it'll probably automatically send the trade in received email.
 
Finally !!! After a week and one day got the trade in successful email

I'm so happy, today I got an email my trade-in was successful. And it was just yesterday they received the device. This was the quickest process I've had with Samsung's trade-ins. But I never an issue before. So happy.
