Trade In Thread

I had two separate online chats with Samsung, one for me and for my wife and they both said we are eligible for the trade-in price match. We'll wait and see what happens. I have screen shots of the conversations.View attachment 342788

It keeps sending me to the automated chat and then a form to fill out. What's the secret?
 
Same here for my phone. Received last Friday, and not a peep yet. Website still saying pending receipt, but got email that it was received. They probably gonna try something deceitful to reject it, a mint Note 10.

Finally got that email saying trade-in was successful! (9:55 pm)

Haha, same! This debacle is finally over...although I haven't received the keyboard cover for my S8+ yet. Minor inconvenience.
 
Feel little unfair that the trade-in amount was increased for Note 20U to $850, but the trade-in bonus for Z Fold 3 remained at $900. They should bump it up to at least $1000.
 
Even though they said they'll price match once the trade is accepted today they changed tune and said I got the $250 pre order credit and promotions change etc.

Honestly I don't have time to drag this with them so I'll let it go
 
My trade-in delivery date went from 3/9 to 3/14 to 3/10 and now back to 3/9. Currently on the truck for delivery and hopefully a quick approval.
 
Glad you got your approval so quickly. I got the email they received mine last week. Still nothing on the actual approval.
Yeah it's all over the place, for me FedEx was the pain this year. From Samsung side it went fine. Hope you get your approval soon.
 
My trade in is due to arrive to Samsung tomorrow. I've been monitoring the status on the FedEx app and also getting status updates by email and text. While scrolling through the history, I noticed the weight of my shipment is listed as 4.7 lbs. No way its that much. Maybe 2 lbs tops. Anyone else experience this?

Unbelievable....first the trade in was delayed 2 days, than only one day, then the label was bad, than it couldn't be delivered because it was damaged???Screenshot_20220309-172037_FedEx.jpgScreenshot_20220309-175104_FedEx.jpg
 
Thats something Samsung and FedEx going have to fix on their end Mike, I wouldn't worry .
