Trade In Thread

Both trade ins accepted. Super painless this year.

For the record chargers not sent.

I got my emails around 3 this afternoon. Two seperate emails. One for my phone and one for the tablet. I mailed mine last Wed, they got it on Fri and today it was approved. That was 6 days time from period of dropping it off. I sweat bullets every year I send mine in.
 
I did not send a charger. It was accepted.

Had two trade-in's going for the S22 Ultra. I decided to return the S22 Ultra and go for the S22 plus instead. Samsung didn't give me any problems starting a new trade in for the s21 plus. I thought maybe they would balk at it due to my pending trade in for the Ultra, but they didn't.
 
I got really fast turnaround I shipped it out a few days ago they received the phone on Monday evening late and then this morning I got the successful trade-in..
 
Man I hate FedEx, I shipped out my trade-in last Wednesday from Seattle area and was supposed to be delivered Tuesday. But still not delivered and now in status delivery date pending. Last status was it's left a place in Oregon. I really hope it gets delivered in the next couple of days. I don't look forward to fighting with Samsung if FedEx screws up. Have been buying and selling phones for over a decade and never had a problem like this. Hopefully it won't be a problem this time as well.
 
Dropped mine off at FedEx after work yesterday, a couple hours later I got a delivery exception for an unreadable and replaced barcode, and then, nothing...still in Anaheim as of 7 pm last night. All searching I've done says not to worry, but still...

Then goodness I took pictures of the box before I gave it to them, complete with legible barcode and addresses...
 
Called FedEx and they did a trace and opened a case. They gave me a case ID and told wait till Monday, if it's still not delivered then call Samsung and give them the case ID.

Not looking forward to this

I think you'll be fine. Same happened to me once. Tracking was stuck on delivery date pending for a few days. But I got an email saying the trade in was received. Sometimes its delivered, but the driver just doesn't verify the delivery or whatever.

Yeah I thought about that too, but FedEx did a trace on the package and they called me and said it's still not in the destination city. Basically once it left Oregon they are waiting to arrive in Texas. Anyway they logged a case, I just hate to keep following up with Samsung and fighting with them to make sure they don't charge me if FedEx really lost the package. I'm just hoping it's just delayed in transit and it'll be delivered tomorrow or Friday.

The trade-in was delivered today around 12:00 PM and got approved at 7:00 PM. That was quick.

I wish I had joined this thread earlier, you all have some good tips, like taking pictures. My trade in of my S21 Ultra has went bad. Samsung said they received an empty box. I contacted them and they're investigating it. The rep I spoke with seemed sincere.

I've never had any issues with any other trade in's I've done, but have always been nervous about it. Fingers crossed my tablet got there ok.
 
Took my Husband's trade-ins to an authorized FedEx location on Monday. The package went out that day & arrived in Tennesee today (Thursday). Husband received an email from Samsung saying that the package was received & he should receive an email in 3 to 7 days regarding the inspection results. I hope that means that his Tab s3 & his s10+ were both in the box.

He took pictures & videos. I taped every seam...twice. Here's hoping...
