Trade In Thread

I ordered my S22 ultra and S22+ at a local Verizon. First time ever trading in a phone but they're offering $800 for each of my Lg V60s so it's a no brainer.

After reading a lot of the stories gone wrong, I'm hoping that turning them in at the Verizon store will go smooth .

Wow my FedEx trade in tracking finally updated lol. At least it finally arrived in Texas. Don’t know what the address corrected means

My trade in was received and evaluated the same day (Thursday) for the amount of $700.

I did see today though that they are offering $850 instead of $700 for the S21 Ultra now. I chatted with Samsung and they submitted for a refund of the differential. Crossing fingers I get the difference back lol :)

My Husband's trade-ins went to Tennessee. Address corrected also showed up in the tracking. Another mystery....

Trade-ins arrived Thursday. Just waiting for results.
:)

Glad your trade-in resurfaced!

Mine had the address correction as well. I thought it was odd, but didn't think too much about it.

You'll have to let us know how that turns out. I'd love to get a little extra back!

I've had mine delayed and the address correction...trade in was accepted, signed for, and all was good.

Definitely keep us posted. I see the Note 20 Ultra bumped up from $600 to $850... If I can get another $250, I'll be all over it!

I think I will call tomorrow and just see what happens. The worst thing is they say no. I'm not unhappy with what I paid, but more money in my pocket is always appreciated.

I see they will give me $30 more for my Note 10. Is it worth the hassle of trying? Hummmh? Also, I ordered a Rose Gold, 40 mm GW4 (non-classic) for my wife and Samsung said Expected Delivery, Apr. 8. Now when I do the exact same order today, they list an Expected Delivery of Mar 21. (two days before her birthday). What the hell is Samsung doing? Emails/FedEX continue to show an Expected Delivery date of Apr. 8!

Guys if Samsung does what they usually do, they will tell you that you have to return the phone and reorder. After all it is a different promo. I guess it doesn't hurt to try.

Definitely never hurts to try.

I got back $ for my S21 Ultra last year because Best Buy marked it down so Samsung honored the price.

Good luck, yeah never hurts to try. They did bump the trade-in for S21 Ultra from release day itself. Only during pre order period it was $700 may be they were considering the $250 pre order promos and giving lower trade in.

Once the pre order was over, they bumped the trade-in values for many phones and S21 Ultra was one of them whose value increased from $700 to $850.

I might give it a shot once my trade-in is accepted, at the moment I'm first worried about that part because of FedEx delaying my trade-in package forever.

I'll be following this. I would much rather have had an additional $250 in my pocket than $250 toward merchandise that I didn't need.

I went on Samsung.com and priced out the S22U with a N22U trade-in. Although, they now give $850 in trade-in value, the 512G is priced at $100 more than on pre-order, so the difference is $150, not $250. Still...

I don't think I'll pre-order next time around.

Dropped mine off at FedEx after work yesterday, a couple hours later I got a delivery exception for an unreadable and replaced barcode, and then, nothing...still in Anaheim as of 7 pm last night. All searching I've done says not to worry, but still...

Then goodness I took pictures of the box before I gave it to them, complete with legible barcode and addresses...
Took a few days and two days worth of Twitter DMs, but my trade in was placed on the truck yesterday morning for Monday delivery in Murfreesboro, TN.

Fingers crossed...

Mine arrived in Tx yesterday and was put on the truck for Monday delivery but then last night I received the email from Samsung stating it had been received. I wonder if that email just means the package got there or the package was opened and it was confirmed that the phone was present.

Beware of Trade-in process - almost lost my mind this morning.....

I traded in a very nice Note 10+ phone. No scratches, or anything wrong with it. I took pics of it prior to shipping - condition and how i packed it. They received it last Monday. I have been waiting for an email about the trade. On the Samsung website it still said "in triage".

This morning I receive an email stating that i had ONE MORE DAY to decide if they were going to ship my trade-in device back as it had a cracked screen and cracked camera lens..........! I never received an email even stating this.

I finally got on Samsung Chat (that was a feat in itself). And the person said "it shows you have a cracked screen and camera lens" I stated "that is not accurate, I took pictures and nothing was cracked on the phone.". They told me to hold on to see how they could fix this for me.

Person came back and stated "Good news! We have manually updated your account and credited you the full value for your trade in. An email was sent to confirm this..." Sure enough, yes they accepted it magically and that's it. I asked what the issue was. NO ANSWER was given, just if there was anything else they could help me with.

Sounds so strange. Anyone else have this experience??
