Trade Ins

Mine arrived same day as yours and still not a word. It's a good thing I'm patient out of be going crazy, but it would be nice to put it to bed and move on.
I hear you , I'm telling you it was the fastest I ever had someone approved it after arriving a day before, I was lucky or something I'm just glad it's done
 
Samsung received my trade in, (Feb 13) Says I will get results in the next 21 business days. I don't recall last trade in. But did everyone get this same email?

Everyone received the same email once the trade-in was received. You'll receive another one on the results.

Haha same here, mine received on February 12th and not a single word. At this point, I don't expect an automated email of acceptance. Most likely will have to reach out after 21 days.
 
Mine was received on the 9th - other than that message - nothing. I'm just impatient!
 
I'd guess that the difference in processing time is a function of what device is being traded in. But hardly any of these posts mention what the device is, so it's hard to tell.

It's not, I traded in a S24 Ultra mint condition and still waiting after it was delivered on Feb 12th.

I know many members in the group who traded in S24 Ultra with fast acceptance.

It's not dependent on what device you trade in and that makes sense as well.

It's just luck, and maybe sometimes the person who inspected forgot/missed to scan the completion step . And eventually after 21 days, you'll get acceptance when you contact customer service.

Legit, because I did a weird thing for me this year and paid for FedEx to package it at one of their shipping centers for convenience. I usually package it myself and drive it to the airport for drop off (no added steps around town to curb the potential for damage/theft). So I was nervous and terribly happy with how quickly they accepted.
 
Well I never had problems as well for many many years, until one day you have

Happened to me last year. You can take whatever photos, videos, follow all the instructions etc, but you can't prevent the phone getting stolen by FedEx in transit. Sometimes you just get unlucky and it can happen to anyone. Luckily, for me Samsung took care immediately without any questions asked even though I had videos, photos etc. But I have seen for some people they create hassle even with all the proof.
I always CMA.

If Samsung ever denied my trade-in, I'd be on them like an angry wasp... and massively dispute the credit card charge.

It would also be my last Samsung mobile phone purchase, as well.

My return had been showing awaiting receipt for days (or something to that effect). Today, there was no confirmation on the site or via.e-mail... my trade-in was apparently accepted

I called just for the fun of it. The young girl just said I'll have to wait the full 21 days and didn't offer to intercede. I asked why some were approved within hours and of course she had no explanation. I'm beginning to think this is my last Samsung device. I have the acceptance email, but if I go into order history, it shows my trade in not yet shipped. I don't know what their game is, but I'm not happy at all.
 
I don't hear from them for weeks and the other day I wake up with email saying trade-in is complete.

Just be patient. It clearly says 21 "business" days... That means it could take 4 weeks and 1 day. Calling in before this will always get the answer you got. You're just frustrating yourself calling in early.. It won't jumpstart them. After 21 days they start the investigation process, it won't just happen immediately even then. As long as you haven't been charged the trade in amount nothing to worry about, and they do send out a warning email before they charge it.

my trade in was received on Feb 7th. i received the email.

i've called in several times, as of today, March 2nd, still no answer yet.

my phone is pristine and in like new condition!

weird.
