I transfer a lot of files from my GoPro SD card to my phone for video editing each time I must take off my case to attached the dongle is there an extension made that will allow me to keep my case on and go from male USB c to female USB c.

Plenty of options if all you need is a USB C extension cable. Quick Google search brought back Bestbuy and Amazon with results as cheap as around $10.
