The charging port has been failing for weeks now on my beloved original g4, No one could repair it locally and the moto repair service costs more than a new unit and they would be giving me a reconditioned one.
Therefore I ordered a new one that arrived today but no matter how much I jiggle the usb cord I can not get it to charge at all now.
I had begun the set up process on the new one and got to the part about turning on the old to make the transfer,
My question is should I stop the process now and wait until I can charge the old one one more time or
Can I just continue by selecting No I do not have the old phone on and will I be able to still go back and make the transfer.
