Transfering photos, camera to Tablet

[AC Question]

I'm not a techie, simple question. Can i take photos with my digital camera with a micro SD card, place it into a Samsung Tab 4, Tab Pro, or Tab S, and transfer the pics to view, crop, share ? Been reading some reviews and the Google/SD card restirictions and tweaks makes it sound difficult if not impossible. Vaca coming up and don't want to have to pack the laptop.. Thanks for any help

You should be able to without difficulty. What you may have to do is download a file manager from the playstore on the tablet because I am not sure the built in one will. I have done it before (phone to tablet via sdcard) so it should not be a big deal.

Give it a trial run before you go so you do not get caught with your pants down so to speak
