Transferring data from Android wear device to Iphone

Dear Forum team,

We are building an iOS application that receives data from a wearable device running the latest android wear version (V2).
How is the data transferred between the android wear to the iOS?
Do you have any examples, protocols, tutorials or articles you can share with me?

Any information regarding on how the data is transferred will be very helpful

Not going to get many responses since the rollout is so delayed. Also I am willing to bet almost every iphone user who desires a smart watch is going to be using the apple watch or maybe a pebble.

I use an iphone 5C as a backup, incase my V10 bootloops. So I would love to help... if I actually had the latest update.
