Hi
I recently bought a nexus 10 and Ive got a Seagate 1tb portable hard drive, it works all good when I connect it I can view the photos on the hard drive, but I want to transfer the photos off my tablet to the hard drive to make more space. I've tried it in nexus media app and file manager but can't get it to work. Can anyone give me advice?
Thanks

IIRC to transfer from the N10 to a Hard drive/flash storage ETC the device needs to be rooted. I haven't tried yet to go from N10 to storage [other than through a PC ;) ] but perhaps I'll give it a go on my next break.

Upload all your extra files to a cloud service (Dropbox, Box, Google Drive) and delete them locally. Download them to your hard drive from a computer later (or never - once you embrace the cloud, there's no going back!).

Both of my Nexus tablets are 16gig versions, yet I have access to triple that in music on Play Music, and untold gigs of images on Picasa.

How are you accessing it exactly? My Nexus 10 is rooted and I have the OTG cable. I use Stickmount to have access to the hard drive and can copy files between both devices fine...
