Transferring Music Files

I have been trying to move music files from my pc to my rooted s4 with no success. I tried using the smart switch app and cannot get the connection needed to access the sd card. Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to Android Central! So a USB connection and Windows Explorer won't work? How about a wireless solution, like AirDroid or Wi-fi File Explorer?
